Mina elever jobbade med papier-maché och det såg så roligt ut att jag var tvungen att testa och sen var jag fast. Här har jag skulpterat karaktären Dr Zuctionkopf från mitt brädspel The Intergalactic Gladiatorial Race.

Oxenheart was once an exalted statesman and served as lord high chancellor during the reign of the previous emperor Immaculus Maximus. When the emperor tragically died from ingesting a poisoned oyster, Oxenheart was quick to seize power by declaring himself leader of the interim regency council that would govern the universe until empress Napoleia came of age. Oxenheart’s plan was of course never to let the little heiress live to see her own coronation but she proved hard to get rid of. Napoleia miraculously survived one assassination attempt after the other and when she eventually ascended to the throne, Oxenheart realized his prospects were bleak and decided to go into exile. He has ever since been compelled to seek refuge on various remote and inhospitable places such as the blizzard ravaged planet Nunatak where he got acquainted with his mount and minion, the mammoth Yawper. From his exile, Oxenheart made attempts to coordinate an alliance amongst the rebelling forces in order to overthrow the empire and restore his former power. Unfortunately for Oxenheart, the rebel’s general staff turned out to be brimming with infiltrators who helped the imperial police track him down and arrest him.

The Hauteurions of Caimanus was once a proud and powerful civilization whose culture greatly influenced inhabitants of the neighboring planets. But over time they grew increasingly priggish and decadent. This aroused the wrath of their gods who felt that they hadn’t gotten the proper appreciation for their efforts in a long time. The Gods eventually forsook the Hauteurions, causing their civilization to enter a path of decline into insignificance.
In order to appease their gods and restore their former splendor the Hauteurions embarked on a voyage throughout space to erect pyramidal buildings on the planets that they came across where their gods could be worshipped.
The Hauteurions left their toughest warrior Priscilla Peril and her cyclopodile Sawjaw on Caimanus to guard the remnants of their civilization. But Peril’s renowned toughness attracted the attention of empress Napoleia who wanted her for the Intergalactic gladiatorial race. Now Peril needs to win the games and return to Caimanus so that her people won’t be let down.

Sergeant Amberhammer was born on the battlefield during the siege of Rubblerock Fortress at the peak of the Qu’Ronical war. His only toys as a child were the dud grenades that lay strewn around. At the age of nine he enlisted in the imperial army where he became part of the assault squad of the 43rd armadillo-cavalry battalion positioned on Marsares.
Over the years the occasional periods of peace made Sergeant Amberhammer restless. This induced him to work extra as a mercenary soldier, offering his services for various rebellious groups that the imperial army fought to squelch. When the lieutenant colonel of the battalion received word about this, Sergeant Amberhammer was immediately court marshaled, convicted for high treason, and sentenced to capital punishment. The penalty was later converted into forced participation in The Intergalactic Gladiatorial Race. This suited Sergeant Amberhammer perfectly, he had already sent in a contestant application for him and his armadillo Stahlhelmer.

Jonkrouw Joan, lord of the Great Gangrene Manor, belongs to the proud van Steinboch clan. Her great-great-great-great grandmother was knighted for her chivalrous bravery during the wars against the Arachnidions. Ever since then the van Steinbochs’ had been exempt from taxation, and they had in return pledged their perpetual and unrestricted allegiance to the cause of the empire. Lately, protracted wars against the numerous rebellious fractions had eroded the imperial finances. To address this problem, empress Napoleia withdrew all promises of tax exemption for the noble class. This in turn led Jonkvrouw Joan to revise her interpretation of the concept of hereditary perpetual allegiance, leading her to accede to the rebellious forces.
Numerous were the battles in which Jonkvrouw Joan triumphantly led her troops to victory, but eventually she and her faithful doe Ruth were captured in an ambush and brought as prisoners to the imperial court.

Dr Zuctionkopf’s resides in his aquatic laboratory Charybdis. Powered by an elaborate construction of 18964 electrical eels connected in series, Charybdis patrols the seabeds of the planet Tiefzealot. Occasional trespassers are greeted with torpedoes of suicidal sea sloths equipped with heavy explosives.
An insane genius some would say, while others would settle for just plain insane. Dr Zuctionkopf’s experiments are so twisted and unethical that even The Intergalactic Society of Evil Scientists withdrew his membership. ‘He who laughs last laughs best’ chuckled Dr Zuctionkopf and fired his newly built Death ray machine, striking his slanderers into smithereens.
Dr Zuctionkopf’s main occupation involves conducting various bizarre experiments, and plotting schemes on world domination. Apart from that he likes to cuddle with his giant cuttlefish Kučulu.
